Last week soap land delivered the two extreme ends of the life and death spectrum.
EastEnders:
Lucy Beale revealed she actually had something to justify her moodiness when she tearfully admitted to Jane that she was pregnant. Jane couldn’t face telling Ian, and instead suggested Lucy got an abortion. Lucy countered with the suggestion that Jane and Ian adopt her baby, which Jane later agreed to.
Max was still wasn’t coping, and Stacey had not returned to the square, by the time Bradley’s funeral rolled around. After the service the scheming Becca made a play for Max, who reciprocated her kiss. Meanwhile, a court ruled that Bradley was responsible for Archie’s murder.
Patrick helped Liz hunt for Owen and they discovered his mobile phone hadn’t been used for months. Lucas managed to dissuade Liz from going to the police, by encouraging Patrick to take her on a sky diving trip for her birthday; the birthday flowers Lucas sent to Liz from ‘Owen’ only raised more concerns, as he always bought her daffodils.

Elsewhere, Bianca discovered Whitney and Billie’s relationship, and Whitney discovered Billie’s gun; Billy overcame his nerves and asked Carol out for dinner, which she accepted, but later, alone, Billy revealed that he, not Masood, was the mail thief.
Coronation Street:
Becky lost the baby and then hit the bottle to drown the sorrow she wouldn't let herself show to Steve. She resigned herself to the fact that she was a bad person and would never be a mother, but some heartfelt words from both Liz and Hayley might have changed her attitude.

Peter discharged himself from rehab and turned up back on the street. Leanne wasn’t convinced he was well enough, and when George returned from Spain with Simon he refused to let Peter see him; cue Peter’s rage.
Tina found out the truth about the text and flowers from 'Joe', and Gail blamed herself for his death for not revealing his plot earlier. Meanwhile, the police discovered the life insurance policy Joe took out (and forged Gail’s signature for) and suddenly Gail became the prime murder suspect.
Elsewhere, Dev and Sunita's reunion continued.
Emmerdale:
After breaking into Faye's house and trashing it, Nathan topped even himself by then maniacally attacking her, possibly with rape on his mind, before Ryan came to the rescue. Later Natasha was forced to tell Nathan that she killed Mark. After digging at the grave, Nathan declared that he'd be calling the shots from now on and demanded all Natasha’s money to keep quiet. She eventually gave it to him and said she never wanted to see him again.

Noah revealed that Cain had been somehow involved in the truck hijacking and Charity called off the wedding. Their arguing almost drove Debbie to move to another country, before Cain’s brainwave to move the wedding date forward, despite the fact Charity wasn’t even speaking to him.
Elsewhere, Priya quit her job and left the village; Ashley and Laurel were warming to each other; Olena admitted to Eli (who she does fancy) that she doesn't fancy Sam; and the Dingles moved back into their home with Lisa even inviting Shadrach to return.
